Why would things look different to a Martian than they do to an Earthling

Martians may live in a completely different world than us Earthlings. The terrain of the land may be different, and animals and plants on Earth may look different than animals and plants(if there are any) on where Martians live. Structures and buildings may differ from the Martian world as well.
