Today Presidents or Presidental Candidates or President- Elects can choose whom ever they want as Vice President. But back then you couldn't. I think back then, there were more qualifications than today.

Today, the presidential candidates are able to choose who they would like to be their vice president. Im the late 1700's, the person who would get the most votes would become the president, and whoever was behind them would become the vice president.
