The winds normally blow from east to the west rather than blowing from the north to the south in the northern and the southern hemispheres.

<u>Explanation:</u>

The reason for the blowing of the wind from the east to the west rather than from the north to the south in both the hemispheres which are the northern and the southern hemispheres are because it happens in light of the fact that Earth's rotation around it's own axis creates what is known as the Coriolis effect.

The Coriolis impact makes wind frameworks turn counter-clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere.

Answer: 0.00000938422m^3

Explanation:

dV=Vø*β*(t1-tø)

The parameters are

dV is the change in volume after temperature increase

Vø =0.607 *10^-3m3 is the initial vokume of coffe at 16.2^0 C

β= coefficient of volume expansion of water at 16.2^0 C is 0.0002/0C

t1= 93.5^0C final temperature

tø=16.2^0 C

Therefore

dV=0.607 *10^-3 *0.0002*(93.5-16.2)

dV= 0.00000938422m^3

This is the volume of coffee that will spill over the container

What is the wavelength of a photon whose energy is twice that of a photon with a 600 nm wavelength?
bearhunter [10]
Planck's equation states that
E = hf
where
E =  the energy,
h = Planck's constant
f =  the frequency

Because
c = fλ
where
c =  velocity of light,
λ = wavelength
therefore
E = h(c/λ)

Photon #1:
The wavelength is λ₁ = 60 nm.
The energy is
E₁ = (hc)/λ₁

Photon #2:
The energy is twice that of photon #1, therefore its energy is
E₂ = 2E₁ = (hc)/λ₂.

Therefore
\frac{E_{2}}{E_{1}}= \frac{(hc)/\lambda_{2}}{(hc)/60 \, nm} =2\\ \frac{60}{\lambda_{2}} =2 \\ \lambda_{2} =  \frac{60}{2} =30 \, nm

Answer:  30 nm
