See the denominator(s) is both 4. You don't have to change that. Just add he numorator (s) together and get 6/4. Then add both 35 and 18 together and get 53. Now simplify 6/4 to get 1 and 2/4 (or 1/2 if you simplify) Add 1 to 53 and keep 1/2.

A 0.3 ml dose of a drug is injected into a patient steadily for 0.65 seconds. At the end of this time, the quantity, , of the dr
Darya [45]
Use the compound interest formula: A=P(1+i)^t.

P is the initial amount of the drug, 0.3ml.
i is - 0.0035.
t is in seconds.

You'll get:
A=0.3(1-0.0035)^t.

Sub in any value on t to find out how many ml are left t seconds after injection.

The 0.65 second injection time does not seem to be relevant as the question clearly states that the exponential decay starts AFTER the injection is completed.

The answer is 8x.
You are combining like terms as 5 and 3 both have x so you are simply adding 5+3= 8

A horse ran 800 meters in 40 seconds , 1200 meters in 60 seconds , and 480 meters in 24 seconds . Is this a proportional relatio
frosja888 [35]

Answer:

This is a proportional relationship, the constant of proportionality is 20m/s and it represents that the horse can run 20 meters every second.

Equation:  d = 20s, where d=distance and s=number of seconds.

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find out whether this relationship is proportional, you need to see if the rate at which the horse runs is constant (the same).  If you look at the three sets of data (24, 480), (40, 800) and (60, 1200) where the pair is (seconds, meters), you can see that for any two sets of data the change in meters divided by the change in seconds is consistently 20m/s.  For example:

\frac{1200-800}{60-40}=\frac{400}{20}=20

Since the constant is 20, we know that the horse can run 20 meters every second.  To find the horse's total distance, we need to multiply the rate by the number of seconds that it runs:

d = 20s
