A clear example of this characteristic of bureaucracies, particularly those of government, is the hiring and assignment or removal of personnel, that is, officials, according to explicit criteria and relevant to the performance of duties.

At the base of every bureaucratic apparatus there is some kind of discipline. For this reason, bureaucracy serves as an articulation of simplification. It could be argued that by bureaucracy the division of labor promoted by the central power is possible, which in turn seeks to dominate officials
