The 2 silver spoons are the materials that will reflect light but does not refract it. The correct option among all the options that are given in the question is the last option or option "4". The other materials given in the question reflects as well as refracts light that falls on them. I hope the answer comes to your help.

1. Earth releases about 44-46 Tw of heat, in fact heat can be converted into
Aleksandr [31]

Answer:

  even if it all could be used, it wouldn't be enough

Explanation:

The land area of the US is about 5.45% of the world's area, so the amount of released heat over the area of the US is on the order of 2.4 Tw. Current technology for converting geothermal energy to electricity is about 12% efficient, so the available energy might amount to 0.29 Tw if it could all be captured.

Energy consumption in the US in 2019 was on the order of 0.46 Tw. This suggests that even if <em>all</em> of the thermal energy radiated by the Earth from the US could be turned to useful forms of energy, it would meet only about 60% of the US need for energy.

Calculate the ratio of the drag force on a jet flying at 950 km/h at an altitude of 10 km to the drag force on a prop-driven tra
Black_prince [1.1K]

Answer:

\frac{F_1}{F_2}=3.55

Explanation:

F = Force

C = Drag coefficient equal for both aircrafts

ρ = Density of air

A = Surface area equal for both aircrafts

v = Velocity

v_2=\frac{2}{5}v_1

F_1=\frac{1}{2}\rho_1 CAv_1^2

F_2=\frac{1}{2}\rho_2 CAv_2^2\\\Rightarrow F_2=\frac{1}{2}\rho_2 CA\left(\frac{2}{5}v_1\right)^2

Dividing the above two equations we get

\frac{F_1}{F_2}=\frac{\frac{1}{2}\rho_1 CAv_1^2}{\frac{1}{2}\rho_2 CA\left(\frac{2}{5}v_1\right)^2}\\\Rightarrow \frac{F_1}{F_2}=\frac{\rho_1}{\rho_2\frac{4}{25}}\\\Rightarrow \frac{F_1}{F_2}=\frac{0.38}{0.67\frac{4}{25}}\\\Rightarrow \frac{F_1}{F_2}=3.55

The ratio of the drag forces is \mathbf{\frac{F_1}{F_2}}=\mathbf{3.55}
