Hey, I know you already found the median, but if you need help with anything else like that I'll show you!

Mean:

Step 1: Add up all data values to get the sum

Step 2: Count the number of values in your data set

Step 3: Divide the sum by the count

Mode:

Mode is the value or values in the data set that are the most common. To remember what mode is, think of <em>most</em>. Mode<em>, Most</em>.

Range:

The Range is the difference between the lowest and highest values. So, if we had a data set that read 5 5 3 6 9, you would have to find the lowest and highest number. For this set, thats 3 and 9. subtract them to get the sample range. 9 - 3 = 6.

Answer:

The median is 5.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the median you have to do steps, (they are really easy):

The median is like the middle of the graph so just try finding the middle, ( i could explain this in a different way but it's hard to explain) Hope this helps.

A card is picked at random from the following set. What is P(9) ? Write your answer as a percentage in the box given below.
irina1246 [14]

Answer:

25%

Step-by-step explanation:

The (not mentioned in the question) set is: 6 7 8 9.

There are 4 total outcomes and only 1 favorable outcome, then the probability to pick a 9 is:

P(9) = favorable outcome/total outcomes

P(9) = 1/4 = 0.25 or 0.25*100 = 25%

Two customers went to a post office to buy postcards and large envelopes. Each postcard
astraxan [27]

The right answer is Option A.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let,

x be the postcards

y be the large envelops

According to given statement;

14x+5y=12   Eqn 1

10x+15y=24.80   Eqn 2

Multiplying Eqn 1 by 3;

3(14x+5y=12)\\42x+15y=36\ \ \ Eqn \ 3

Subtracting Eqn 2 from Eqn 3;

(42x+15y)-(10x+15y)=36-24.80\\42x+15y-10x-15y=11.20\\32x=11.20\\

Dividing both sides by 32

\frac{32x}{32}=\frac{11.20}{32}\\x=0.35

Putting x=0.35 in Eqn 1;

14(0.35)+5y=12\\4.90+5y=12\\5y=12-4.90\\5y=7.10

Dividing both sides by 5

\frac{5y}{5}=\frac{7.10}{5}\\y=1.42

Therefore, one large envelope costs $1.42

The right answer is Option A.
