let me know if i got this wrong, but the events are dependent, so the equation   is (5/12)(4/11)(3/10)= 1/22.

Since there are 5 statistic and 12 total, that's obviously the first fraction. Then you take one from each because both sides are getting smaller (less statistic assignments and less total assignments.)
