The graph of which of the following equations contains the point (0,-3)?

Mathematics

3 0
Hi there! “x” is 0 and “y” is -3. To find the solution that works, let’s test them out. 0 + (-3) is -3, not 3. A is out. 0 - (-3) is 3, not -3, because when subtracting a negative, you actually add. B is out. 0 - (-3) is 3 and it does satisfy the solution. We should check D, but it is basically repeating the same thing with B, except that there is no symbol in front of the “x”. D is out. The only answer that works is C. The answer is C.

What is the answer to this
NeX [460]
The answer would be the first choice. When you reflect a shape across the x-axis, the y coordinates of every points/vertices become of the opposite of what they usually were.
For example, the y coordinate in (1, -5) {{-5 being the y coordinate) once reflected upon the x axis would be (1, 5).

On the other hand, if the y coordinate were positive it would become negative.

Find the area of a regular decagon with a 12.3 in, apothem and 8 in. sides.
EleoNora [17]

Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

The area (A) of a regular decagon is

A = \frac{1}{2} perimeter × apothem

perimeter = 10 × 8 = 80 in, thus

A = 0.5 × 80 × 12.3 = 492 in² → D

mix 1 part of shampoo to six parts of warmwater.How much water do you need to mix with 200 ml of shampoo?
borishaifa [10]
For every one part, or in this case 200 ml of shampoo, there are three parts water. This means that there is 6 times more water than shampoo. 200 * 6 = 1200 ml of water
