X = 2 pointers, y = 3 pointers

x + y = 40......x = 40 - y
2x + 3y = 92

2(40 - y) + 3y = 92
80 - 2y + 3y = 92
-2y + 3y = 92 - 80
y = 12 <=== Jerry's team made 12 three point shots
