Factors of 18: 1; 2; 3; 6; 9; 18

Factors of 27: 1; 3; 9; 27

GCF(18; 27) = 9

18 + 27 = 9 × 2 + 9 × 3 = 9 × (2 + 3)

18+27=45
factors of 18 are 1,2,3,6,9
factors of 27 are 1,3,9
gcf=9
9x5=45

I'm not positive if this is the answer. I'm a little confused about "another sum". I'm not sure if its asking for another factor of the two numbers or just another number. But I think what I did is right. I'm sorry if I'm wrong.

Luci Lulu opened a cookie store in the mall. She found that the relationship between the price of a cookie, p, and the number of
bekas [8.4K]

Answer:

The maximum revenue Luci Lulu can make selling cookies in one day is $2,000.

The price Luci Lulu should sell the cookies to make the maximum revenue is $1.

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question, we have:

x = −2000p + 4000 ..................... (1)

Where;

x = number of cookies sold

p = price of a cookie, p, and the

Revenue function (R) can therefore be obtained as follows:

R = px ……………………….. (2)

If we substitute equation (1) into (2), we will have:

R = p(−2000p + 4000)

R = −2000p^2 + 4000p ……………… (3)

Differentiating equation (3) with respect to p and set it equal to zero, we have:

−4000p + 4000 = 0

Solving for p, we have:

4000 = 4000p

p = 4000 / 4000

p = 1

Therefore, this implies the price Luci Lulu should sell the cookies to make the maximum revenue is $1.

Substituting p = 1 into equation (3), we have:

R = (−2000 * 1^2) + (4000 * 1)

R = (−2000 * 1) + (4000 * 1)

R = −2000 + 4000

R = 2000

This implies that the maximum revenue Luci Lulu can make selling cookies in one day is $2,000.

a rectangle plot measure 20ft. by 30ft. A 3-ft.-wide sidewalk surrounds it.Find the area of the sidewalk.
goldenfox [79]
Area of a rectangle = length (l) * width (w)
A = 30ft * 20ft
A = 600 sq ft

Now the width of a sidewalk that surroundeds it = 3 ft
so now the area of the rectangle with sidewalk= 30+3ft * 20+3ft
A = (33*23) ft
A = 759 sg ft

Area of the sidewalk = 759 - 600
A = 159 sq ft
