Well, since we are not given any graphics or additional information, I'll resort to listing four triangle area formulas:

1) triangle area = (1/2) * base * height

2) Heron's Formula ("s" = semiperimeter, which is the sum of all 3 sides divided by two)

triangle area = square root [s * (s - side a) * (s - side b) * (s - side c)]

3) For 2 sides and the INCLUDED Angle:

Area = side 1 * sine (angle A) * side 2

4) I posted the 4th formula as an attachment.

A book is in the shape of a right rectangular prism. It measures 812 inches tall, 7 inches wide, and 212 inches thick.
ki77a [65]
We know that
the Volume of a prism=a*b*c
a----> tall--------> 8 1/2 in=8.5 in
b-----> wide-----> 7 in
c-----> thick-----> 2 1/2 in=2.5 in
therefore
V=8.5*7*2.5=148.75 in³------------equal a 148 3/4 in³

the answer is the option c 148 3/4 in³
