HELP PLS- 50pts!!! (This is Linear programming)- The amphitheater has two types of tickets available, reserved seats and lawn se

ats. The maximum capacity of the venue is 20,000 people, however, they must sell at least 5,000 tickets for a concert to be held. As a additional constraint the number of lawn seats can't exceed the number of reserved seats. If reserved seats profit 65$ each and lawn tickets profit 40$ each, how many of each must they sell to maximize their profits.

Round 23,879 to the nearest thousand
Vlad [161]
23, 879 to the nearest thousand.

The thousand digit is the 3, and we look at the digit after 3, which is 8, since 8 is more than 5, we round up the 3 to 4.

Therefore 23, 879 to the nearest thousand ≈ 24, 000

I hope this explains it.

Given (1, -3) and (5, 1). The slope of the line is The equation of the line is
guapka [62]

To find the slope of the line we can use the following formula:

\frac{y.2 - y.1}{x.2 - x.1} = m

1 - (-3)/5 - 1

4 / 4

1

The slope of the line is equal to 1.

To find the equation, we can just use slope-intercept form.

We already know the slope, so our current equation is y = x

By knowing the slope, we can apply the slope to our lowest pair of coordinates to find the y value when x = 0.

Subtract 1 from the x and y values of (1, -3)

(0, -4) is our new point, and so we know the y-intercept is -4.

Our equation for the line is y = x - 4
