What is rule of law? What would society be like without the rule of law?

The rule of law means that no one is above the law, that the law of a land should be applied to everyone, that we all have to abide by the law, and that no one can be above the law, not even, let's say, the president of the United States.

Society would be insane without the rule of law. Nobody would abide by the law, people would be getting murdered, nobody would have any respect for anyone, things would be getting stolen, etc.

lubasha [3.4K]

Answer: the correct answer is D. Novelty/predictability.

Explanation:

Relational dialectics is an interpersonal communication theory about close personal bonds and relationships that highlights the issues, struggles and interplay between contrary tendencies. This theory, proposed respectively by Leslie Baxter and Barbara Montgomery in 1988, defines communication frameworks between relationship partners as the result of never ending dialectical tensions.  The dialect is, in this case, novelty/predictability since Shelly has taken a novel action and Lincoln is predictable in the sense that he is schedule-oriented.

Anthropological research reveals that most ethnic groups and nations are recent historical creations, our connection to people w
lubasha [3.4K]

Answer:

Imagined communities

Explanation:

The concept of Imagined communities was developed in 1983 by historian Benedict Anderson, the concept of imagined communities refers to the fact that a nation "<em><u>is imagined because the members of even the smallest nation will never know most of their fellow-members, meet them, or even hear of them, yet in the minds of each lives the image of their communion"</u></em>

So, members of most ethnic groups and nations will never know each other face to face and yet, they identify themselves as part of a nation with common characteristics (and this is where <u>nationalism</u> appears).

Therefore, according to this concept, <u>nations are a socially constructed group, imagined by people who perceive themselves as part of the group. </u>

Thus, we can conclude that the question regarding anthropological research refers specifically to Imagined communities.
