Answer:

a) spontaneous recovery

Explanation:

In classical conditioning, the term spontaneous recovery is defined as the reappearance of the conditioned response after a rest period or period of lessened response. In other words, the conditioned response is back after it was thought to have disappeared.

In this example, Marjoe trained his dog that whenever it saw a photo of the cat next door, he'd receive a treat. The dog was conditioned to start salivating (conditioned response) whenever he saw the photo of the cat (conditioned stimulus). Then Marjoe extinguished the conditioned response by presenting the photo without the treat. However, a week later, when he hold up the photo of the cat, the dog started to salivate.

That is, he came up with the conditioned response after a rest period, so he presented the response when Marjoe thought it had disappeared.

Thus, this is an example of spontaneous recovery.

Note:

b) Stimulus discrimination refers to the capacity to recognize one specific stimulus among others.

c) Stimulus generalization refers to the fact that the response appears with similar stimulus but not with only one (the dog would salivate with any picture of cats)

saw5 [17]

Answer:

The need to reproduce

Explanation:

Maslow's hierarchy of needs is a motivational theory in psychology made up of a model of human needs, often described as hierarchical levels within a pyramid. From the bottom of the hierarchy upwards, the needs are: physiological, safety, love and belonging, esteem, and self-actualization. The needs of the body (food, shelter, etc) falls under psychological needs. The need to feel good about yourself is a typical example of esteem needs, The need ti see and engage with the world in a way that that goes beyond self and self interest falls under self actualization. Their is no part of maslows hierarchy of needs that explicitly mentioned the need to reproduce.

How to study psychology field?
Could u recommend psychology things?(websites,app,video...)
Talja [164]

Answer:

Psychology is not just all memorization. Sure, there is some of that, but at some point, you actually have to apply what you have learned, especially if you plan to become a Counselor or Psychotherapist. This means that there are some hands-on courses in the way of internships or field experiences too. You can become a Mental Health Aid, Behavioral Aid, Direct Care Worker in a Group Home, Youth Counselor, or a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Counselor, and depending on the demand for such workers in your state.

That's not too shabby! Of course, if you want to do actual Psychotherapy, which is what a Clinical Psychologist does, that will require that you get a Ph.D. There is a catch though, you can also do Counseling which is basically the same thing, but only requires a Masters Degree.

If Psychology is something that interests you, you would be best off to take a course in it and see if you like it and if you are able to get a good grade in it. If you find you like it and you are doing well, then take the next course in the series and so on. It is not too difficult to master any subject if you are passionate about it.

Psychology is the science of behavior, and psychologists learn how to predict, understand, explain, and control behavior. Though not professional psychologists, undergraduates are taught how to look carefully at behavior and gain exposure to basic principles such as motivation, learning, thinking, sensation, and perception.

Psychology is a source of fascination for many people, and for good reason. By learning more about the basics of the human mind and behavior, people are able to gain a greater understanding of themselves and others.
