Answer: plate

Explanation: Plates grinding past each other in opposite directions create faults called transform faults. Powerful earthquakes often strike along these boundaries. The San Andreas Fault is a transform plate boundary that separates the North American Plate from the Pacific Plate.

Consider the following gas phase reaction:
snow_tiger [21]

Answer:

2NO(g) + O2(g) --> 2NO2(g)

now 400 ml of NO × 2 mol of NO2/2 mol of NO

= 400 ml of NO2

now 500 ml of O2 × 2 mol of NO2/1 mol of O2

= 1000 ml of NO2

now 400 ml of NO2 × 1 mol of O2/2 mol of NO

= 200 ml

subtract that from 500 ml of total i.e. 500-200 =300 ml

The total volume of the reaction mixture is 1000 ml -300ml = 700 ml

The hydrogen ions in the core of the sun move at high speed. Colliding together and sticking to each other.
kenny6666 [7]

Answer:

The process describes the source of energy of the Sun such that it shines as a result of nuclear fusion of hydrogen taking place.

Explanation:

The Sun generates energy by hydrogen within the Sun undergoing nuclear fusion to form helium.

Nuclear fusion reaction involves combining of two or more atomic nuclei to produce one or more completely different atomic nuclei as well as protons or neutrons, with a loss or gain of mass and the release or absorption of energy.

The process whereby four hydrogen atoms combine to form one helium atom  with a mass deficit, which is accounted for by the release of energy, result in the high intense light of the Sun.
