Japan was expansionist, imperialist and mostly run by the military.

In Germany, we see the rise of the Nazi Party, which gained its first minister in 1930.

Soviet Union was a huge communist country. Which means that everything in the country belonged to the government.

In Spain, Primo de Rivera was forced to resign in 1930 and the King, Alfonso XIII, called for elections to be held in a democratic fashion, opening a way to the Second Republic

Germany discriminated against the Jews so the were anti-Semitic.
