Which is a example of a situtaion this is in equilibrium
Keith_Richards [23]

An example of a  situation in equilibrium is the amount of money in a bank account never changes.

What is Equilibrium?

Equilibrium is a point where the supply and demand are perfectly equal.

Equilibrium can be of two types:

  • dynamic equilibrium
  • static equilibrium

Example of equilibrium conditions include:

Chemical equilibrium - this refers to the equilibrium that exists in chemical systems. This form of equilibrium is a dynamic equilibrium where even though conditions in the system remain constant, the molecules in the system are constantly changing.

See-saw equilibrium - this is a static equilibrium where there os no change occurring in the sytem.

An equilibrium state is reached when when the supply and demand is equal such as the case when the amount of money in a bank account never changes.

In conclusion, equilibrium state is constant and never changes.

2. Failure to disprove a hypothesis proves that the hypothesis is correct.- False

3. Scientific theories are never questioned.- False

4. A scientific theory is based on educated guesses and is not backed up by facts/data.-False

5. Scientists that contribute data that contradicts an established theory are not highly regarded in the scientific community.- False

7. Scientific facts are never questioned.-False

The True

6. In order for an investigation to be considered scientific, a controlled experiment must be used.- True

A control serves as a guide in an experiment as the experimental variable is tested with it to see the possible changes or outcome.

8. Science can only answer questions about things that can be seen and observed.- True

Science provides solutions to problem that have been identified, for which data are generated in respect to the problem identified and solutions are provided.

9. Untestable hypotheses fall outside the realm of scientific inquiry -True

An hypothesis should be testable, it is the problem statement that requires a solution.
