You distribute the first number which is to, it will be 4 + 2 then add 2 + 3 then add 4 + 2 and last step is to subtract 6 - 5 so the answer will be 1

Can someone tell me step by step how to solve this?
sasho [114]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

I take it that this is some sort of ratio.  Start by solving the brackets on the left.

Brackets: 1/3 - 1/10

Brackets: 10/30 - 3/30

Brackets: 7/30

Brackets^2: 49/900

Brackets^2 - 1/5: 49/900  - 180/900

Brackets^2 - 1/5: -131/900

(2/5)^2 = 4/25

The way this read, it should be

\frac{\frac{-131}{900} }{\frac{4}{25} }

Which when you invert and multiply becomes

\frac{-131}{900} * \frac{25}{4}

which finally becomes

\frac{-131}{144}

Find the domain of the function shown. Write the answer in interval notation.
lara31 [8.8K]

( - ∞, 3) ∪ (3, ∞ )

The domain is the set of values of x which make f(x) defined

The denominator of f(x) cannot be zero as this would make f(x) undefined. Equating the denominator to zero and solving gives the value that x cannot be.

solve x - 3 = 0 ⇒ x = 3

domain : (- ∞, 3) ∪ (3, ∞ )

When rolling a number cube 600 Times, predict the relative frequency of rolling a 3 or 6
Flauer [41]

Answer:

The frequency of rolling a 3 or a 6 would be the same even if you try thousands or millions times.

The probability of rolling a 3 is: 1/ total outcomes probability = 1/6

The probability of rolling a 6 is: 1/ total outcomes probability = 1/6

The probability of rolling a 6 or a 3 = 2/ total outcomes probability = 2/6 = 1/3

Therefore, if you rolling the cube 600 times, the probability of rolling a 3 or a 6 is still 1/6. If 3 and 6 are both allowed, the probability would become 1/3

Hope this helped :3
