What was a major outcome of the arms race during the Cold War?
dalvyx [7]

The lack of democracy, economic backwardness and crisis in the Soviet republics eventually accelerated the crisis of socialism in the late 1980s. In 1989 the Berlin Wall falls and the two Germanys are reunited.

In the early 1990s, then-president of the Soviet Union Gorbachev began to accelerate the end of socialism in that country and its allies. With economic reforms, agreements with the US, and political changes, the system has been weakening. It was the end of a period of political, ideological and military clashes. Victorious capitalism was gradually being implanted in the socialist countries.

Why was the Norwegian heavy water sabotage necessary, do you agree with the saboteurs' motives?
lapo4ka [179]
It was necessary to stop the Nazis being able to gain the deuterium oxide from hard water which could be used to create Nuclear weapons. I agree, as from what we seen how fast and destructive the force was against Japan. If the Nazis gained these weapons Britian would have defenitly been destroyed as well as Russia, meaning the only threat would be America who would be out numberd by a lot.

Which three aspects of Indian history and culture reflect the Impact of Hinduism?
artcher [175]

Answer:

The three aspects of Indian history and culture related to Hinduism are the rise of the Brahmin class, the decline of the Harappa culture, and the practice of idol worship.

Explanation:

A is correct because the Brahmin class is one of the classes found in the caste system, a system which has been developed in the Hinduism and has been an essential part of Indian culture for millenniums.

B is correct because the Harappa culture, an older culture before the development of Hinduism, has been suppressed and has experienced a decline as the Hinduism was developing and becoming dominant.

C is not correct because the British Empire has nothing to do with the impact of Hinduism on Indian culture.

D is correct because one of the main aspects of Hinduism is the idol worship which can be regional, local, or just in a single family, with a countless number of idols emerging over time and being respected and worshiped.

E is not correct because Hinduism doesn't encourage fire sacrifices.
