I think this because if you look at 3.5 secounds it came down and after 1.75 secounds the ball hit the ground. A) wouldn't be because it came down at 3.5 secounds not coming up. B) wouldn't be because the ball droped after 1.75 secounds not come up.
Just by simply adding the two quantities you can get the net change. $67.12 +(addition sign because we want the net change) $2.56= $69.68. The last number is the net change!
If there are 4 sections then each section is 1/4. You need to find 1/2 of one section so you will need to multiply 1/2 times 1/4 which equals 0.125 or 1/8.
