The value of X would be -2

The equation to find the value for all X values is X+22=Y

So, because Y is 20 we plug that information into the equation

Our new equation is now X+22=20

Now we solve for X

X+22=20
-22 -22

In the end it leaves us with X=-2

Hope this helps!

Henry was able to help 4 out of 9 of students that requested help in the math lab and Michelle helped 45% of the total students
WARRIOR [948]
For Henry: 4 out of 9 is equal to 4 divided by 9. That gives you approximately 0.444. Multiply that by 100 to get the percentage and you get 44.4%.

Ally is making a scale diagram of her classroom. She uses a scale factor of 3 centimeters per foot to draw the diagram. The actu
Gnoma [55]
The area of the scale drawing would be 1080 square centimeters or (1080 cm^2). I got this answer through first finding the area of the classroom in feet (which is A= lw = [18][20] = 360 ft^2) and then I proceeded to converting it to centimeters via given scale factor (3 cm = 1 foot) and had the answer of 1080 centimeters squared.

<h2>Verbal Phrase to Mathematical Phrase</h2><h3>Answer:</h3>

10 +\frac{n}{6} = 15\\

<h3>Step-by-step explanation:</h3>

Let that number be n.

The quotient of a number and 6 is \frac{n}{6}\\.

"Increased" is just another term for "plus (+)" so 10 increased by The quotient of a number and 6 is 10 + \frac{n}{6}\\

And it tells us that it is 15 so it must be 10 +\frac{n}{6} = 15\\
