Think of it this way. Osmosis occurs when water flows to a different side given its a membrane or not. This is because it flows to a less dense area to reach equilibrium between the two sides. Heat is very similar. It will try to spread to places where there is not as much heat. Keeping the laws of heat travels up, the heat from the coils will reach the ends. We call this "Thermal Equilibrium"

Yakvenalex [24]

Neurotransmitters can affect postsynaptic cells by causing molecular changes in the cells.

The term "chemical messengers of the body" is frequently used to describe neurotransmitters. The nervous system uses these molecules to send information between neurons or from neurons to muscles. A neurotransmitter influences a neuron in one of three ways: excitatory, inhibitory or modulatory.

When a stimulus is potent enough, the chemical messenger neurotransmitter is transferred into the nerve impulse. If it is powerful enough, it will reach the postsynaptic cell and affect the structure of the neuron. And when signal transduction happens, everything mentioned above is completed.

ATP hydrolysis _______.
yaroslaw [1]

Answer:

The correct answer is to ADP and Pi is the most common mechanism for transferring free energy to drive endergonic reactions.

Explanation:

Many endergonic reactions(the free energy change of these reactions are highly positive) proceed in a thermodynamically unfavorable manner.

To make those reactions thermodynamically favorable, these reactions are coupled with hydrolysis of high energy compound such as hydrolysis of ATP to ADP and Pi.

As a result the free energy change of those reactions becomes negative which allow those reactions to proceed in a thermodynamically favorable manner.
