Answer:

81\pi

Step-by-step explanation:

This may appear problem of geometry but can be simply solved using concept of ratio.

Since circle is uniform figure , hence area is uniformly distributed over the circle. Hence , area will be equally distributed for each angle of circle.

Given

sector with 120 degree angle has area 27\pi

to get area covered by unit angle we divide both angle and area by 120

sector 120/120 degree angle has area 27\pi /120

sector with 1 degree has area 27\pi /120

We know that total angle for a circle is 360 degree.

Hence, area for circle will be 360 times multiplied the area of sector with 1 degree has area 27\pi /120 of same circle

Thus area of circle = =>360*(27\pi /120)\\=> 3*27\pi \\=> 81\pi

A group of 8 friends went to lunch and spent a total of $76, which included the food bill and a tip of $16. They decided to spli
Rudik [331]

Answer:

1) The equation 1/8(x+16)=76/8 represents the situation, where x is the food bill.

2) The solution x=60 represents the total food bill.

These both answers are correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since there are 8 group of friends, and the total amount spent by them is $76 including the tip i.e $16.

If x is the food bill our equation can be:

(x+16)/8 = 76/8

Solving the equation

(x+16)/8 = 9.5

x+16= 9.5*8

x= 76 -16

x= 60

The food bill is x=60.

In Argentina, a cow on a ranch is expected to need an average of 4200 m2
nika2105 [10]

The cows of Argentina needs an approximate area of 4200 m² for grazing, and there is a total of 4500 cows.

And we are asked to find the total area of their grazing but in hectares. So, we can write:

1 \: cow = 4200 \:  {m}^{2}

Then, for 4500 cows:

4500 \: cows = 4200 \:  {m}^{2}  \times 4500

4500 \: cows = 18900000 \: m {}^{2}

We know that, 1 hectares = 10000 m² = 10⁴ m²

Then let the area of the field be x in hectares:

1 \: hectare = 10000 \:  {m}^{2}

x \: hectare = 18900000 \:  {m}^{2}

Then, putting them in proportion, We will get:

x =  \dfrac{18900000}{10000} hectares

x =  \boxed{ 1890 \: hectares}

So, the total area in hectares = <u>1</u><u>8</u><u>9</u><u>0</u><u> </u><u>hectares</u><u>.</u>

And we are done !!
