No, it is not the same thing.

Overweight is like few pounds or a bit more than a few pounds than it's average weight. Obese is no doubt about like if you have an average weight than you look what the thing really weighs, it it shows so much more weight than the one that is being weighed means it is obese.

because Obese is A BMI of 30 and higher is considered obese. The higher the BMI, the greater the risk of developing additional health problems.

basically saying Obese is grossly/awfully fat

and OverWeight is bassicly just saying your 10 years old but your 80 lb/pounds
