Answer:

(2) immune and circulatory

Explanation:

Blood is a tissue in organisms made up of cells. The blood, in addition to some organs like heart are part of the circulatory system that transports blood and nutrients throughout the human body. Blood like every other tissue is made up of cells viz: Red blood cells, White blood cells and platelets.

The white blood cells, also called leukocytes, are one of the major components of the blood. Since they constitutes what makes up the blood, they are part of the circulatory system. The white blood cells, however, have other specific functions asides being part of the circulatory system.

The white blood cells helps combat foreign invaders e.g. pathogenic microbes in the body. The white blood cells are referred to as the "SOILDERS" of the body as they help prevent infection by fighting against these disease-causing microbes. Due to this function, white blood cells play a pivotal role in the body's immunity and hence are a part of the IMMUNE SYSTEM.

Are carbon dioxide, oxygen, and hydrogen the molecules needed to do all the three steps of cellular respiration?
Harman [31]
Answer: no

Explanation:
Cellular respiration is the process through which our cells get the energy to perform their functions.

During aerobic respiration, oxygen is present, and this results in a larger amount of energy. Even though anaerobic cellular respiration lacks the presence of oxygen, it is still able to produce energy, just smaller amounts of it. This process is called fermentation.

During cellular respiration, food molecules are broken down from sugar molecules to energy molecules known as ATP. ATP is also considered to be the 'energy currency' of cells. ATP stores energy in a strong bond, and cells can harness this energy by breaking that bond, thereby removing a phosphate group and resulting in ADP, which can then be reconverted to ATP. At the end of anaerobic respiration, there are only two molecules of ATP produced. During aerobic cellular respiration, there are a maximum of 38 molecules of ATP formed.
