An acute triangle is one where all 3 angles are acute...less then 90
an obtuse triangle is one with 1 obtuse angle (greater then 90)
a right triangle has exactly one right angle (90)

30-60-90 = right triangle
67-76-37 = acute triangle
15-100-65 = obtuse triangle

This question is Incomplete

Complete Question

Researchers recorded the speed of ants on trails in their natural environments. The ants studied, Leptogenys processionalis, all have the same body size in their adult phase, which made it easy to measure speeds in units of body lengths per second (bl/s). The researchers found that, when traffic is light and not congested, ant speeds vary roughly Normally, with mean 6.20 bl/s and standard deviation 1.58 bl/s. (a) What is the probability that an ant's speed in light traffic is faster than 5 bl/s? You may find Table B useful. (Enter your answer rounded to four decimal places.)

Answer:

0.7762

Step-by-step explanation:

We solve using z score formula

z = (x-μ)/σ, where

x is the raw score

μ is the population mean

σ is the population standard deviation.

Population mean = 6.20 bl/s

Standard deviation = 1.58 bl/s.

x = 5 bl/s

z = 5 - 6.20/1.58

z = -0.75949

The probability that an ant's speed in light traffic is faster than 5 bl/s is P( x > 5)

Probability value from Z-Table:

P(x<5) = 0.22378

P(x>5) = 1 - P(x<5)

= 1 - 22378

= 0.77622

Approximately to 4 decimal places = 0.7762

The probability that an ant's speed in light traffic is faster than 5 bl/s is 0.7762

P partitions GR in ratio 2:4. GR is 36cm. How long is GP and PR?
Allushta [10]

Answer:

12 cm and 24 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The line is divided in the ratio 2 : 4 = 2x : 4x ( x is a multiplier )

The sum is therefore

2x + 4x = 36

6x = 36 ( divide both sides by 6 )

x = 6

Thus

GP =  2x = 2 × 6 = 12 cm

PR = 4x = 4 × 6 = 24 cm

egoroff_w [7]
The formula for the volume of a cone, V, is:

V = [1/3] * π * (radius)^2 * height

Here radius = 6 feet / 2 = 3 feet

Height = 15 feet

V = [1/3] π (3 feet)^2 * 15 feet = 45π feet^3

Answer: 45π feet^3
