This is fairly easy.
60x30=1800
Just add up the zeros from both numbers and do 6x3.
So therefore there will be 18 hundreds sections since there is nothing on the tens digit and nothing on the ones digit.
Hope this helps!

A computer chip has the dimensions 8mm x 8mm but the scale is drawn with the ...
Yuliya22 [10]
Given that the chip has a dimension of 8 mm by 8 mm which can be written as 0.8 cm by 0.8 cm, is drawn to scale and the dimensions of the plot is 4 cm by 4 cm, the scale of the drawing will be:
0.8 cm is represented by 4 cm
thus;
4 cm rep 0.8 cm
1 cm rep 0.2 cm
The answer is:

If the midpoint is located at (-6,-2) and one endpoint is at (1,7), what is the coordinates of the other endpoint?
FromTheMoon [43]

Answer:

The other endpoint would be (-13, -11)

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find the coordinates of an end point, we need to note that the midpoint would be the average of the two values. We'll call the unknown point P and we'll start by looking at the x values only.

(1 + Px)/2 = -6 ----> multiply by 2

1 + Px = -12 -----> subtract 1

Px = -13

Now we can do the same with the y values.

(7 + Py)/2 = -2 ----> multiply by 2

7 + Py = -4 ------> subtract 7

Py = -11

George believes the Art Club students at his school have an unfair advantage in being assigned to the art class they request. He
Whitepunk [10]

Answer:

  class assignment seems to discriminate against Art Club members

Step-by-step explanation:

The probability of getting the requested assignment given that the student was in Art Club was ...

  P(got class | art club) = P(got class & art club)/P(art club)

  P(got class | art club) = (100/500)/(165/500) ≈ 60.6%

__

  P(got class | not club) = P(got class & not club)/P(not club)

  P(got class | not club) = (265/500)/(335/500) ≈ 79.1%

It looks like George's theory may be incorrect, as a significantly greater percentage of non-club students got their requested class than did club students. The class assignment process and art club membership are not independent, suggesting an unfair disadvantage for club students.
