It’s 5/4

to find the x-intercept you need to substitute f(x)=0


0=4x-5
- and then you move the variable to the left and change its sign

-4x= -5
- divide both side by -4

which then you’ll get 5/4 or 1 and 1/4 or in decimal form it’ll be 1.25
