Help me please :) have a good day.
Aleonysh [2.5K]

Answer:

problem 1: h=a/b problem 2: 5

Step-by-step explanation:

First problem: a=bh

First you have to flip the equation so bh=a

Next you have to divide both sides by b.

bh/b=a/b

so h=a/b

Second problem: 45ft is the area and 9ft is the base so to find the height you have to divide the area by the base

If you only have the base and height you would multiply them to find the area. If you only have area and height you divide area by height to get base.

You have to divide 45 by 9, the answer would be 5.

Hope this helped!

Evaluate the following expression using the values given:
LiRa [457]
Hey there! :)

2x - 3y - z ; When x = -2, y = 3, & z = -2

Since we're given the values of x, y, & z, we can very simply plug everything in!

2(-2) - 3(3) - (-2)

Simplify.

(-4) + (-9) + 2

Get rid of parenthesis.

-4 - 9 + 2

Remember to do PEMDAS!

Parenthesis
Exponents
Multuply
Divide
Add
Subtract

So, since adding comes before subtracting, let's add! :)

-4 - 9 + 2

-4 - 7

Simplify.

-11

So, our answer is [A] : -11

~Hope I helped!~

How do you find the height and area of this triangle
Doss [256]
Because the triangle is an equilateral triangle, you know that all of the angles are equal to 60°. That means that you can use trigonometry to find the height, which would be sin(60) × 20 = 17.32.

Again, because it is an equilateral triangle, all sides are equal as well, meaning that the base is also 20cm. To find the area of the triangle, we must do (20 × 17.32)/2 = 173.2cm^2, which is the area.

I hope this helps!

The closing amount of the Dow Jones Industrial Average on the stock market for four days is shown in the table below.
andreev551 [17]

Answer:

Option A. a loss of 93.98 points

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve this question we will calculate the difference (change)in closing amount of Dow Jones on stock market that took place on day to day basis.

From 01/27 to 01/28

Change = 13881.93 - 13895.98 = (-14.05)

From 01/28 to 01/29

Change = 13954.40 - 13881.93 = (+72.42)

From 01/29 to 01/30

Change = 13860.42 - 13954.40 = (-93.98)

Here we can see that change from 01/29 to 01/30 is maximum and it is (-93.98).

Therefore answer will be Option A. a loss of 93.98 points.
