No bc Lisa didn’t add all of the numbers together. When finding the mean you add all numbers together then divide by how many numbers you have.

At the Roberts family reunion, there are 48 men. The ratio of men to women is 6.5. How many women are at the reunion
ruslelena [56]
Your answer would be approximately 30 women because:
40/6=6.6 (repeating)
since there cant be .6 of a woman, we will get rid of .6
now we have 40/6=6
finally:
6*5= 30

i hope this helps you! :)

Matthew has $1,500 in his savings account. Currently, he pays $20 each month for an
____ [38]

Answer: 30 months

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi, to answer this question we have to write an equation:

Matthew's saving account money (1500) must be equal to the product of the amount he pays per month for the app subscription  (20) and the number of months (x); plus the product of the amount he pays per month for the Italian restaurant subscription  (30) and the number of months (x).

1500= 20x+30x

Solving for x:

1500=50x

1500/50 =x

30 months =x

PLEASE HELP!!! <br> WHICH OF THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS IS GRAPHED BELOW?
SashulF [63]

Answer: D.

Step-by-step explanation:

For an absolute value function, the vertex of f(x) = |x+h| + k is defined as the point (-h, k) for the coordinate (x, y).

When x is equal to negative h, the value for x and value for h effectively cancel out, and only the positive k remains, hence the vertex being (-h, k).

The function given has a vertex at (2, 3). We know that the vertex of an absolute function is (-h, k), so h must equal -2 and k must equal 3.

The equation:

f(x) = |x-2| + 3
