Regulation slowly happens but produces long-lasting effects, whereas _____ regulation quickly takes place with short-term effect
vazorg [7]

Endocrine system regulation slowly happens but produces long-lasting effects, whereas nervous system regulation quickly takes place with short-term effects.

Endocrine system can regulate many things in the body that control the metabolism. The effect shouldn't be instant, but it should be good for long term effect. Nervous system need a much faster reaction because it responsible for "fight or flight" reaction. A slow nervous system will cause the organism caught by predator easier.

exis [7]

Answer:

Spore can survive under unfavorable conditions as they are covered by a hard protective coat. Spores can grow to produce new plants and does not require sexual interaction with another organism. Due to their small size and light weight, they can be dispersed easily.

Spores can remain dormant till favourable conditions become available. b. Spores help an organism to tide over the bad phase. Spores can be spread through water, air or animals and thus is good for the spread of an organism to more places.
