Answer:

Chlorophyll allows the plants to trap solar energy and convert it into chemical energy. In the whole ecosystem only green plants can do that. Food produced by plants are taken up by primary consumers. Secondary consumers derive nutrition from primary consumers, and so on.

Thus all the consumer organisms in an ecosystem get energy directly/indirectly from the trapped solar energy stored in plants. This is why plants are called the producers.

sukhopar [10]
The correct terms to fill in the blanks would be contracts and dilates. In stressful situations, the sympathetic nervous system contracts the arteries of the circulatory system resulting to the dilation of the pupils of the eyes. Also, during these situations, the blood sugar levels are raised since the hormones for stress kick in to combat the stress which in turn raises the blood sugar.

Describe the difference between the messenger RNA transcript produce by rna polymerase in the nucleus and the mRNA transcript th
cupoosta [38]

Answer:

The mRNA transcript that is produced in the nucleus is in immature form, it had to get matured, and then its capping and tailing is done. 5' cap is added and a poly A tail is added at 3' end of this mRNA. This helps it to get matured. moreover for its maturation the non-coding regions (introns) are removed and exons are packed up again to form a mature mRNA.

This mature mRNA then proceeds to its way to the ribosomes for translation of proteins.
