Answer:

Chlorophyll allows the plants to trap solar energy and convert it into chemical energy. In the whole ecosystem only green plants can do that. Food produced by plants are taken up by primary consumers. Secondary consumers derive nutrition from primary consumers, and so on.

Thus all the consumer organisms in an ecosystem get energy directly/indirectly from the trapped solar energy stored in plants. This is why plants are called the producers.

Food cooking is an example of an endothermic reaction, because removing the source of heat would cause the reactions to stop

Answer: Option D

Explanation:

Cooking food is an example of endothermic or the heat-absorbing reaction where heat is absorbed by the system from the surrounding. Food is cooked by absorbing heat from the surroundings. Hence the temperature of the surrounding decreases.

Now when the source of heat is removed that would cause the reactions to stop. In an endothermic reaction an external heat is required for the reaction to proceed. Hence when the heat is removed and as the product is not that stable it is liable to stop the reaction.

The spinal cord is part of which nervous system? Question 3 options: 1) sympathetic 2) autonomic 3) parasympathetic 4) central 5
igomit [66]

Answer;

-Central nervous system

Explanation;

-The nervous system consists of two main parts: the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system: The central nervous system is made up of the brain and spinal cord.

-The central nervous system controls most functions of the body and mind.It controls all parts of the body. It receives and interprets messages from all parts of the body and sends out instructions. The brain is the center of our thoughts, the interpreter of our external environment, and the origin of control over body movement.

-The spinal cord serves as a conduit for signals between the brain and the rest of the body and also controls simple musculoskeletal reflexes without input from the brain.
