Well... personally it could go either way, Video Games don't intentionally drain to get bad grades specifically. However... I can think of a handful of reasons:
1. You preoccupy yourself with a game, causing your brain to manage and retain information that strays away from schoolwork, in other words causing you to not be able to easily remember your schoolwork from which you suffer in the end.
2. Games cause your mind to basically run wild, although it's good to have your imagination go wild or be active, it can also hinder productivity towards schoolwork causing you to slack off, think of other things, or stop focusing on your work.
3. Games are a fun entertainment source, so... after playing a game your mind may be more fixated on really wanting to return to that game that you again stop focusing or you slack off of work.
4. Final reason I could think of (that's valid) derives from occupation of time. When you play games you use up time that you could be using to productively study and raise your grades.
However, in self-defense solely studying for increasingly more difficult subjects is stressful and games are a way to relinquish that stress and cope with problems.
I hope this helps in someway, have a great rest of your day! ^ ^

The Columbian Exchange was the arrival European people, plants, animals, and diseases in the Americas. It happened when Columbus and subsequent explorers arrived in North and South America.
So, which of these options is the most similar? It's not A, the migration to the Americas of Europeans seeking wealth and opportunity. That came much later. B, the movement of Native Americans to Europe after Columbus's voyage is also incorrect: they had no wish to move from their native lands. C, the disastrous introduction of unknown species to European ecosystems, isn't right either. Not many new species reached Europe, and they had little effect there. The transfer of plants, animals, people, and diseases between hemispheres, D, however, is correct! (Keep in mind that the Americas were in one hemisphere, and Europe is in the other.)

Answer:
They expected for communism to overtake capitalism.
Explanation:
Communism is a political and economic system and its effectiveness depends on its prevalence around the world. The more widespread communism is, the more stable it will be. Soviet leaders like Stalin beloved that communism was the most advanced politcal and economic system but contradicted how inadequate the USSR's industry was at the time.
