Answer:c.-2.5 is answer

sorry I cannot do this.I didn't found z over here. I think question is

.25^(z+ 4) = 125

5^(2z+8)=5³

again

2z+8=3

2z=3-8

2z=-5

z=-5/2=-2.5

The length of a rectangle is 2 cm longer than its width. if the perimeter of the rectangle is 40 cm , find its area.
rusak2 [61]

width = w

 length = w +2

perimeter = 2L + 2w

40 = 2(w+2) + 2w

40 = 2w+4 +2w

40 = 4w+4

36=4w

w=36/4 = 9

with = 9

length = 9+2 = 11

 area = l x w = 9*11 = 99 square cm

To some Marines one cruising at 25 kn in the other 20 kn left the naval base at the same moment. Three hours later they were 100
Rus_ich [418]
I believe you would have to multiply both 25 and 20 and what ever number you get dived by 100 if the numbers to high multiply aging or subtract the number (if it's wrong I'm really not good at my math I'm sorry)

Differentiating with respect to time

Basic Power Rule:

  • f(x) = cxⁿ
  • f’(x) = c·nxⁿ⁻¹

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Step 1: Define</u>

<u />l = 30 \ cm\\w = l\\\frac{dl}{dt} = 2 \ cm/h\\h = 20 \ cm\\\frac{dh}{dt} = 3 \ cm/h<u />

<u />

<u>Step 2: Differentiate</u>

  1. Rewrite [VRP]:                                                                                                 V = l^2h
  2. Differentiate [Basic Power Rule]:                                                                         \frac{dV}{dt} = 2l\frac{dl}{dt} \frac{dh}{dt}

<u>Step 3: Solve for Rate</u>

  1. Substitute:                                                                                                           \frac{dV}{dt} = 2(30 \ cm)(2 \ cm/h)(3 \ cm/h)
  2. Multiply:                                                                                                               \frac{dV}{dt} = 360 \ cm^3/h

Here this tells us that our volume is decreasing (ice melting) at a rate of 360 cm³ per hour.
