Muscular System: It comprises of muscles that permit movement of the body, maintains posture and circulates blood throughout the body. So, MUSCLES are attached to bones and help them MOVE.

Circulatory System: Is system that permits blood to circulate and transport nutrients, oxygen, carbon dioxide, hormones, and blood cells to and from the cells in the body to provide nourishment to the body. So, BONE MARROW inside the bones produce the cells inside your BLOOD.

Nervous System: It is a complex collection of nerves and specialized cells known as neurons that transmit signals between different parts of the body. So, the BRAIN tells the skeletal system when and where to move. Bones protect the ORGANS.

Digestive System: It consists of the central gastrointestinal (GI) tract and its associated accessory organs that break down food into smaller components so that nutrients can be absorbed and assimilated. So, CALCIUM help to grow and repair bones. SKELETAL SYSTEM protect the organs.

Each part of your digestive system helps to move food and liquid through your GI tract, break food and liquid into smaller parts, or both. Once foods are broken into small enough parts, your body can absorb and move the nutrients to where they are needed.

As with other ionic compounds, potassium bromate, KBrO3, dissociates into ions when it dissolves in water. If 13.8 g of KBrO3 is
chubhunter [2.5K]

Answer:

ΔH of dissociation is 38,0 kJ/mol

Explanation:

The dissociation reaction of KBrO₃ is:

KBrO₃ → K⁺ + BrO₃⁻

This dissolution consume heat that is evidenced with the decrease in water temperature.

The heat consumed is:

q = CΔTm

Where C is specific heat of water (4,186 J/mol°C)

ΔT is the temperature changing (18,0°C - 13,0°C = 5,0°C)

And m is mass of water (150,0 mL ≈ 150,0 g)

Replacing, heat consumed is:

q = 3139,5 J ≡ 3,14 kJ

13,8 g of KBrO₃ are:

13,8 g×(1mol/167g) = 0,0826 moles

Thus, ΔH of dissociation is:

3,14kJ / 0,0826mol = 38,0 kJ/mol

Explanation about the combining powers of element chemistry
stiv31 [10]

Answer:

Valency is the combining power of an element. Elements in the same group of the periodic table have the same valency. The valency of an element is related to how many electrons are in the outer shell. The noble gases have the valency 0 as they do not usually combine with other elements.

Which instrument is most often used to measure acid volume before a titration begins?
Darya [45]

Good Morning!

To measure the volume of an acid we use in the laboratory an instrument called burette (a). This instrument is used to calculate the volumes of chemical solutions. At first glance, these tools may be confused with syringes, but have different functions.
