Unity is the appearance or condition of oneness in a work of art.

Unity in art refers to the phenomenon when one element in a work of art is connected to another element or elements. Unity in art makes it wholesome, harmonious and pleasing to the eye. Unity in a work of art makes the viewer perceive it holistically rather than focusing on individual details. Attached are two examples of unity in artwork.

Particulate material that quickly loses its energy as it travels through the air, has limited penetrating power, and can be stop
professor190 [17]

Particulate material that quickly loses its energy as it travels through the air, has limited penetrating power, and can be stopped by clothing or a sheet of paper is known as alpha particles

What is penetrating power of radiation?

The ability of each type of radiation to penetrate matter is expressed by its ability to penetrate. The more radiation a material passes through, the greater the penetration power and the more dangerous it is. In general, the greater the mass current, the greater the ionization strength and the lower the penetrating power.

Comparing only three common types of ionizing radiation, the alpha particle has the largest mass. Due to the large mass of the alpha particle, it has the highest ionizing strength and greatest tissue damage potential. However, the same large size of these alpha particles makes them less likely to penetrate matter. Alpha particles have the least penetrating power and can be stopped by a thick sheet of paper or even a layer of clothing. They are also blocked by the outer layer of dead skin on the body. This seems to remove the threat of alpha particles, but only from outside sources.

5 things you would smell in a agora
Nina [5.8K]

Answer:Agora means marketplace. Remember your psychology courses when you read about agoraphobia? That is a fear of the marketplace or social situations. There are two main Agoras in Athens that are of interest to travelers. The first is the ancient agora which is now an archaeological site below the acropolis and is well worth the visit.Things have gotten a little slow at the ancient Agora since the fall of Rome and the Turkish occupation.

But there is plenty of action at my favorite agora on Athinas street between Omonia and Monastiraki where the Athinians do their shopping for meat, fish, vegetables, olives, herbs and just about everything else you want to eat. The following page is a photographic journey through one of the most exciting and interesting places in Athens. Hopefully this will inspire you to supress your agoraphobia and bravely wander through the sights, sounds and smells of the agora on your next visit to Greece.
