Andy claims that his bird can do single-digit multiplication. He shows the bird 12 cards with simple multiplication problems tha

t are either correct or incorrect. The bird correctly identifies the correctness of the card 9 times out of 12. If the bird were simply guessing, how many would the bird be expected to get correct? (1 point)

If the bird were just guessing there would be two options (right or wrong) and we would expect them to be equally likely to occur (50% chance for each). A 50% of correct, out of 12 cards gives us:

12×0.50=6

If the bird was guessing we would expect 6 correct answers. (1/2 of the total correct and 1/2 wrong.)

So the answer would be 6.

How do i round 4,398,202 to the nearest 100
Vikentia [17]
When you round 4, 398, 202 to the nearest 100 it means to ignore the 4,398 and just look at 202. You could either round to 200 or 300 since you want to round to the nearest 100. Since the ones place is 2, you round the number to 200.

Answer: 4,398,200

The answer is D. Think of the Pythagorean Theorem which states that a^2 + b^2 = c^2. The Pythagorean Identities used in trigonometry are the angle version which can be used to simplify expressions.

Which lines, if any, must be parallel based on the given information? Justify your conclusion.
77julia77 [94]
A must be parallel to b.

Proof:
∠3 = ∠13 (given)
∠15 = ∠13 (vertically opposite angles are equal)
Since ∠13 = ∠3 and ∠13 = ∠15, ∠15 = ∠3

Then, a must be parallel to b (transverse line d cuts parallel lines producing converse alternate angles that are equal (ie ∠15 = ∠3))

If h(x) = −2x − 10, find h(−4). −2 −18 −3 −16
Anuta_ua [19.1K]
If h(x) = -2x - 10 you should put the -4, -2. -18, -3 or/and -16 in the place of the x in the formula.
So for example:

h(-4) = -2 * (-4) - 10 = 8 - 10 = -2

Or at least, that's what I think the answer should be.

Good luck!
