What is the major difference between the post-closing trial balance and the other two trial balances?
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

d.The post-closing trial balance is the only one to include only real accounts.

Explanation:

Post closing trial balance is prepared after providing for all the adjustments pending in the first raw trial balance.

Thus, it only represents the real accounts, as only real accounts have the balance to be carried forward, all the expenses and incomes are not real accounts and are thus, closed, and no carrying balance.

Whereas, all other trial balances will have the other accounts outstanding as well.

Thus, only statement D is correct in disclosing the difference between various trial balances.

In your opinion, discuss of the importance of having a business website. And also their advantage and disadvantage.
azamat

Answer:

The first and perhaps most obvious advantage of a business website is the potential for reaching a wider audience. The internet is used by literally millions of people, all of them are looking for something and some of them might be looking for you!

Building a website for your business will mean you could potentially reach these otherwise unreachable customers. Your business might be local, but you might have the potential to sell your products or services to a wider market, whether it be people in the next town, the nation as a whole or even the international market. Data shows that internet shopping is still on the rise, so taking your business online will potentially allow you to take advantage of the growth and expand your business. Even if you have no intention of using a business website to sell, you still might want to let customers know about your business. People commonly research businesses online before actually visiting the business location. So having a well designed website will help encourage them to come and visit you or be able to find your business in the first place.

Disadvantages of a Business Website

There are a few disadvantages of having a website for your business. Generally though, they are outweighed by numerous advantages.

A 30-year 6% semi-annual coupon bond has a tenor of 12 years and a yield to maturity of 7.000%. If the PAR value of the bond is
KATRIN_1 [288]

Answer:

$875.28

Explanation:

We use the Present value formula which is attached in the attachment below:

Provided that

Future value = $1,000

Rate of interest 7%  ÷ 2 = 3.5%

NPER = 30 years × 2  = 60 years

PMT = ($1,000 × 6%)  ÷ 2 = $30

The formula is shown below:

= -PV(Rate;NPER;PMT;FV;type)

So, after solving this, the present value would be $875.28

Since on semi annual basis, the interest rate is half and the duration is doubled. The same is shown  above

If you were reviewing a Financial company such as JPMorgan Chase, which of the following metrics is most relevant?
Elena L [17]

Answer: A) Net Interest Margin.

Explanation:

JPMorgan Chase as a financial company would not deal with actual inventory so the Days sales outstanding is not a relevant measure. Neither is the SSS as the company is not a retail chain.

The relevant metric would be the Net Interest Margin which is used to measure the difference between the interest income that a bank or similar financial institution makes vs the interest payments that the company will pay out to its lenders.
