According to the chart, how did Southern states benefit from the Three-Fifths Compromise? (1 point)
Lady bird [3.3K]

Answer: hope it helps :)))))))

Explanation:

The Three-Fifths Compromise was a compromise reached among state delegates during the 1787 United States Constitutional Convention. Whether and, if so, how slaves would be counted when determining a state's total population for legislative representation and taxing purposes was important, as this population number would then be used to determine the number of seats that the state would have in the United States House of Representatives for the next ten years. The compromise solution was to count three out of every five slaves as people for this purpose. Its effect was to give the Southern states a third more seats in Congress and a third more electoral votes than if slaves had been ignored, but fewer than if slaves and free people had been counted equally

wich of the following was a central public concern behind the russian revolution that overthrew the tsar in feb 1917
Savatey [412]

During the February Revolution, Czar Nicholas II, ruler of Russia since 1894, is forced to abdicate the throne by the Petrograd insurgents, and a provincial government is installed in his place.

Crowned on May 26, 1894, Nicholas was neither trained nor inclined to rule, which did not help the autocracy he sought to preserve in an era desperate for change. The disastrous outcome of the Russo-Japanese War led to the Russian Revolution of 1905, which the czar diffused only after signing a manifesto promising representative government and basic civil liberties in Russia. However, Nicholas soon retracted most of these concessions, and the Bolsheviks and other revolutionary groups won wide support. In 1914, Nicholas led his country into another costly war, and discontent in Russia grew as food became scarce, soldiers became war-weary, and devastating defeats on the eastern front demonstrated the czar’s ineffectual leadership.

In March 1917, the army garrison at Petrograd joined striking workers in demanding socialist reforms, and Czar Nicholas II was forced to abdicate. Nicholas and his family were first held at the Czarskoye Selo palace, then in the Yekaterinburg palace near Tobolsk. In July 1918, the advance of counterrevolutionary forces caused the Yekaterinburg Soviet forces to fear that Nicholas might be rescued. After a secret meeting, a death sentence was passed on the imperial family, and Nicholas, his wife, his children, and several of their servants were gunned down on the night of July 16.

What were some of the complaints from the first justices?
Andru [333]

Answer:

the first Justices complained of the Court's limited stature; they were also concerned about the burdens of “riding circuit” under primitive travel

Explanation:

First among the Justices' complaints was a mandate of the Judiciary Act of 1789 to travel a circuit to attend the circuit courts. This proved wearisome to the Justices due to the poor roads, poor lodging, and distances involved.

An independent-measures study uses n = 15 participants in each group to compare two treatment conditions. what is the df value f
AnnyKZ [126]

if an independent-measures study uses n = 15 participants in each group to compare two treatment conditions. then 28 is the df value for the t statistic for this study.

The t-statistic, which is used in statistics, measures how far a parameter's estimated value deviates from its hypothesised value relative to its standard error. Through the Student's t-test, it is utilised in hypothesis testing. In a t-test, the t-statistic is used to decide whether to accept or reject the null hypothesis. The t-statistic is used when the sample size is small or the population standard deviation is unknown. It is quite similar to the z-score in other respects. Once the standard deviation is unknown, the t-statistic is in use, for one, to approximate the population mean from a sampling distribution of sample statistics.
