A suffix
Suffix is at the end of a word but prefixes are at the beginning of the word.
Remember, a linking verb <span>is a </span>verb which<span> connects a subject to its predicate without expressing an action.
"Was" is the linking verb.

D. I mean think about it, the farmers want the land right? They died and lived off of it so they want whoever is trying to take it away to see how much they need it.. Go with it fam, and try to understand. Also...use a dictionary.
