Sub: Increasing Crimes In Children.

Sir:

I am writing to your esteemed self to express my deep concern

over the increasing crime among children. The incidents

of thefts, kidnapping, jewellery and purse snatching, mobile snatching,

eve-teasing are on the increase. There is an atmosphere of insecurity and fear

in the entire locality. No resident dares to go out after the dark. The most worrying

factor is most of these crimes are being done by the teenagers. These crimes

are the fallout of their unregulated and unmonitored overexposure to the

internet.

It really pains to see young children being caught by

police. Quite ironically, they belong to families with respectable background.

Being elders it is our moral responsibility to prevent the youngsters from

going astray. This is nothing but the effect of their exposure to violence on TV and internet. The schools, the parents, and the government must come together

to solve this problem. I have decided to bring the attention of the concerned

authorities to the problem through the medium of your esteemed newspaper. I am

hopeful that you will help me in sensitizing the concerned authorities, people

and organizations by publishing this letter in your reputed daily.

Thanking you.

Yours truly,

Radhika

Select the property of equality used to arrive at the conclusion. if 1/3 x=5 then x=15 the multiplication property of equality t
REY [17]

If we take both sides of the equation \frac{1}{3} x=5 and multiply either expression by 3, the equality becomes

3\cdot\frac{1}{3}x=3\cdot5\\x=15

Multiplication of both sides of an equality by the same number keeps the equality true, and we call this property the multiplication property of equality.
