One main difference between the United States Constitution and state constitutions is that state constitutions cannot include any legitimate information that pertains to the regulation of domestic or international trade, since this role is designated to the federal government.
State constitutions also contain measures or amendments similar to the Bill of Rights. However, most state constitutions are much longer. One reason is that <em>states have to be specific about many services offered </em>to state citizens.
