<h3><u>Explanation</u></h3>
  • Given the Inequality.

\frac{1}{2} y - 9 > 1

  • Rewrite the Inequality.

\frac{y}{2}  - 9 > 1

  • Solve the Inequality for y-term by making y as the subject.

\frac{y}{2}  > 1 + 9 \\  \frac{y}{2}  > 10 \\ y > 10 \times 2 \\ y > 20

  • Answer Check

We have to compare and consider both values which are y = 20 and any greater than 10 which is 21.

<u>Substitute</u><u> </u><u>y</u><u> </u><u>=</u><u> </u><u>20</u><u> </u><u>in</u><u> </u><u>the</u><u> </u><u>Inequality</u><u>.</u><u> </u>

<u>\frac{20}{2}  - 9 > 1 \\ 10 - 9 > 1 \\ 1 > 1 \longrightarrow \sf{false}</u>

<u>Substitute</u><u> </u><u>y</u><u> </u><u>=</u><u> </u><u>21</u><u> </u><u>in</u><u> </u><u>the</u><u> </u><u>Inequality</u><u>.</u><u> </u>

<u>\frac{21}{2}  - 9 > 1 \\ 21 - 18 > 2 \\ 3 > 2 \longrightarrow \sf{true}</u>

That means the value of y must be greater than 20. Hence the answer is B choice.

<h3><u>Answer</u></h3>

<u>\large \boxed{y > 20}</u>

Hope this helps but I think the answer is A.To find this look at the points on the graph and find out what their ordered pairs are. Once you do that look at the x values for all the ordered pairs.Example the x value for the ordered pair (-3,-1) is -3.After you have found all the x values put them in order from least to greatest.I any x values are repeated then leave them out.Example if your x values are 0,1,1,2,3,3,4 then leave the extra 1 and 3 out and then you have 0,1,2,3,4.Once you have put the x values in order from least to greatest  and left out any extra repeated x values the you are done and you have your domain for the function.

RSB [31]

Answer:

-1557

Step-by-step explanation:

a+14d=143

a+12d=183

--------------------

2d= -40

d= -20

a=183+240=423

I hope that help =)
