Answer: They cannot bend or move easily, they are not flexible as normal cells and they can block the blood flow.

Explanation:

Sickle cell or sickle cell disorder( SCD) is a group of red blood cell disorders that are inherited and they cannot bend or move easily in a human body.

A Normal cell is round-shaped and normal cells can move through blood vessels. they are carrying oxygen to all parts of the human body and sickle-shaped cells cannot do that. A Sickle-shaped cell can block that blood flow and it can cause many problems and diseases in the human body.

Zielflug [23.3K]

Stay with the client for 45 minutes to an hour.

Bulimia nervosa, often known as bulimia, is a severe eating condition that may be fatal. Bulimics may covertly binge and purge, seeking to burn off the additional calories in an undesirable way. Binging is defined as consuming excessive amounts of food without self-control.

Bulimics may employ a variety of techniques to burn calories and avoid gaining weight. For instance, following bingeing, you could frequently self-induce vomiting or abuse laxatives, diet pills, diuretics, or enemas.

You can also employ other strategies to burn calories and avoid gaining weight, such fasting, tight dieting, or overexerting oneself.

Why is informed consent an important patient right? Check all of the boxes that apply.
muminat

Answer:

Informed consent is important to the patient for all of the above reasons because it allows the patient to know about his treatment and the risk involved, as well as giving him freedom of choice and participation in the health care process.

Explanation:

Before being subjected to an investigation, diagnostic study or treatment —especially if it involves risk— a patient must know everything about the procedure and has the right to express his or her acceptance or rejection by signing an informed consent.

If the terms <em>"informed</em>" and <em>"consent" </em>are analyzed separately, it can be established that you are informed because information related to a procedure is dispensed, while consent implies acceptance or refusal of the procedure.

Informed consent provided:

  1. <em>The right of the patient to receive information of interest, with the benefits and negative —or harmful—side effects of a given medical treatment being explained. </em>
  2. <em>A resource that allows the patient to participate in decisions related to his/her health and medical treatment. </em>
  3. <em>The patient's ability to make decisions about the types of medical treatments and procedures offered to him. </em>

The purpose of informed consent is to ensure, to the fullest extent possible, that a patient knows the positive and negative aspects of a treatment, makes a judgment, and decides whether or not to accept it.
