It would change the entire ecosystem that the chimps are in. Think what would happen to all the animals if chimps went extinct. What do they eat? If they went extinct would their food source over populate? What would happen then if that happened? Try to think of all the causes and affects of if an animal like that was taken out of an ecosystem which would greatly affect the food chain in that ecosystem

Monica [59]

Answer:

B. differential

Explanation:

The culture medium is a chemical preparation that has the necessary nutrients for microorganisms of a given biological sample to multiply, allowing its study, identification and analysis. The main components of a culture medium are sources of carbon, energy (sugars), nitrogen, phosphorus and minerals.

There are several types of culture medium, among them we can mention the differential culture medium, which is the type of medium that is being used in the experiment shown in the question above. The differential culture medium allows the distinction between various genera and species of similar microorganisms. This distinction is possible because this type of culture medium has substances that allow for a presumptive differentiation, evidenced by the color change or the morphology of the colonies.

A point mutation changes one nucleotide at a random location in human DNA. How likely is the mutation to cause a change In the a
andrew-mc [135]

Answer: Very unlikely

Explanation:

Generally, point mutation can be easily reversed by another point mutation, so

before any changes occur in the amino acid sequence, it would have been corrected.

However, when point mutation occurs within the protein coding region of a gene it may results in the change of a single nucleotide to cause the substitution of a different amino acid (which renders the protein non-functional) as in the case of sickle-cell disease.

And this kind of point mutation is specifically called Missense mutation.

Above all, because point mutation is easily reversible, it is very unlikely to change the amino acid sequence of a protein
