The weight of football players is normally distributed with a mean of 200 pounds and a standard deviation of 25 pounds.Refer to
Dafna11 [192]

Given that

the weight of football players is distributed with a mean of 200 pounds and a standard deviation of 25 pounds.

And we need to find What is the minimum weight of the middle 95% of the players?

Explanation -

Using the Empirical Rule, 95% of the distribution will fall within 2 times of the standard deviation from the mean.

Two standard deviations = 2 x 25 pounds = 50 pounds

So the minimum weight = 200 pounds - 50 pounds = 150 pounds

Hence the final answer is 150 pounds.

What is a quick way to determine which savings account will pay the most interest?
Igoryamba
I would say, the best way and the fastest way, is to go to some banks and ask them how much interests they give you... then the bank that gives you the most interest, the bank that you are looking for.

For 20 Points. 3 Qs.<br> I also gave you guys a help sheet. PLEASE HELP.
Eduardwww [97]
Wat is help sheet, didn't help,

instructions unclear, got my calculator stuck in the ceiling fan

remember some simple exponential laws
( x^{n} )(x^{m})=x^{n+m} and
\frac{x^{n}}{x^{m}} =x^{ n-m }
x^{-m}= \frac{1}{x^{m}}

first one
(2^{-6})(2^{3})=2^{-6+3}=2^{-3}= \frac{1}{2^{3}}  = \frac{1}{8}

2nd one
\frac{7^{5}}{7^{3}} =7^{ 5-3 } = 7^{2} = 49

third one
(3^{-4})(3^{2})=3^{-4+2}=3^{-2}= \frac{1}{3^{2}}  = \frac{1}{9}

dunno wat to do with 'help sheet'

I've been on vacation this week and my math teacher just gave me a packet of makeup work to do. a lot of them are questions like
adelina 88 [10]

To visualize better, look at it like this:

\frac{3r^3}{2r}

First, see if you can simplify 3/2. You can't, so leave it like that.

The rule for exponents is you subtract the exponent from the bottom (r) from the exponent on the top (r^3)

r^3 - r^1 = r^2

Put that on the top, and you get

\frac{3r^2}{2}
