SVETLANKA909090 [29]

Answer:

no of students are 369

and no of non students are 132

Explanation:

given data

ticket sold  = 501

student paid = $3

non students paid = $5

total collection = $ 1767

to find out

how many students and how many non-students attended

solution

we consider here no of students  = x

and no of  non students = y

so we can say that

x + y = 501   ...................1

y = 501 - x     ...................2

and paid by students then equation will be

3x + 5y = 1767   ..............3

put value 2 equation in equation 3

3x + 5(501 - x) = 1767

3x + 2505 - 5x = 1767

-2x + 2505 = 1767

x = 369

so y will be y = 501 - 369

y = 132

so no of students is 369

and no of non students is 132

ELEN [110]

Answer:

E. not change.

Explanation:

The break even point is a point at which the company produces a quantity at which it does not earn any profit or face any losses, so it is a point where the revenues are equal to cost. The break even quantity depends on the fixed cost, variable cost and price of the product and not on the quantity sold. So when the Brooklyn Unit sales are 300 units less than expected it wont change the break even point because the break even point has no relation to it.
