Hi. Your question must be answered through your own interpretation of an advertising campaign. For that reason, I can't answer this essay for you, but I can show you how to write one.

  1. First, as the question itself shows, you will need to find an advertising campaign from the Centers for Disease Control that promotes influenza vaccination. These campaigns are very recurrent and for that reason you will find them quickly by doing a quick search on some search platform.
  2. Next you must identify the target audience for this campaign. Generally, the target audience is people who are part of the risk groups for this disease. These people are: Elderly, pregnant and health professionals.
  3. Next you must identify the advertising techniques used in the campaign. These techniques refer to the resources that the campaign used to draw people's attention to vaccination and attract them to get vaccinated.

Once you identify this, you can write your essay as follows:

  • Introduction: Present the advertising campaign you selected. Was this campaign done through a poster? a video? a radio advert?
  • Body: The body will have three paragraphs. In the first paragraph you will show the objective and type of language used in the campaign and how this language is effective for the target audience. In the second paragraph you will show who the target audience is. In the third paragraph you will present the advertising techniques used.
  • Conclusion: You will show if the campaign is efficient and if it is capable of promoting the success of the vaccination campaign.

Historical context helps readers understand a text by providing?
stira [4]
Historical context refers to the political, social, and economic climate of the time and place of the author. This helps a reader understand, because the tone/theme/characters are probably influenced by what was going on in the world. Being able to read a text through the lens of historical context opens up new levels of understanding.
