I believe it is use sugar and and release carbon. We breath in oxygen so you know it can’t be anything where we release oxygen. And I don’t know how we could release nitrogen so I would go with the second one

If a piece of ribbon is 6 and 1 over 4. feet long, how long is it in inches?
timama [110]
The piece of ribbon would be 75 inches. The ribbon would be 75 inches because 1 foot would be 12 inches and you would multiply 12 by 6 to get 72. Then, 1/4 of a foot would be 3 inches because you could divide 12 and 4(the denominator you are dealing with) to get 3. Then, add 72 + 3 to get 75. Hope this helps!

Nesterboy [21]

Answer:

<h2>width = 6 feet</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

let l be the length of the rectangle

let w be the width of the rectangle

The statement

The length of a rectangle is 6 feet more than three times the width of the

rectangle is written as

l = 6 + 3w

From the question

l = 24 feet

Substitute the value into the above formula and solve for the width

That's

24 = 6 + 3w

3w = 24 - 6

3w = 18

Divide both sides by 3

w = 6

Therefore

<h3>width = 6 feet</h3>

Hope this helps you

Person A can make a cupcake in 5 minutes, Person B can make a cupcake in 9 minutes. In total they made 168 cupcakes. How many cu
Stolb23 [73]

Answer:

Person A made 108 cupcakes and person B made 60 cupcakes.

Step-by-step explanation:

Person A makes 1 cupcake in 5 minutes.

Say in x minutes A makes : \frac{x}{5} cupcakes

Person B makes 1 cupcake in 9 minutes.

Say in x minutes B makes : \frac{x}{9} cupcakes

Total cupcakes prepared by A and B in x minutes = 168

\frac{x}{5}+\frac{x}{9}=168

\frac{14x}{45}=168

x=\frac{168\times 45}{14}=540

So, cupcakes made by A = \frac{540}{5}=108

Cupcakes made by B = \frac{540}{9}=60

Person A made 108 cupcakes and person B made 60 cupcakes.
